SUNDAY SCHOOL and BIBLE STUDY CLASSES START UP AGAIN
BETHANY 101 ON SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 21ST FROM 9AM TO 12PM
A class for those interested in learning about the history, current ministries, and future mission of Bethany Church. Anyone who is considering becoming a member of the congregation is encouraged to attend. Childcare will be available. Current members are welcome, too! Registration is requested to help us plan and can be done on the website or by contacting the church office.
BEGINNING ON SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 8TH -
Doug Bovard will be in the Bethany Room leading a study from the New Testament and Pauls Epistle of Joy, beginning with Philippians Chapter 2.
Mark Rackley's Class in the Chapel will be discussing John, Jude & Ezekiel in the book of 1 John.
Sharon Salvini & Devin Underwood are setting up in Fellowship Hall again to discuss the book of Genesis, Chapters 34-60, using a book by author, John MacArthur.
BEGINNING ON SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 22ND - SMALL GROUP FOR WOMEN
Led by Becky Yanak, will begin in Room 224.
They will be discussing the book, Now and Not Yet, by Ruth Cho Simons. The author, using scripture, leads the reader into something more powerful: the truth about what God says about our unwanted and not-yet- wonderful circumstances and how he works in and through them, even now. All are welcome, even if you have not attended this class in the past. We will begin Sept 22. You will not need the book for this first meeting
JUNIOR AND SENIOR HIGH SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES
Jr. High students will be gathering in the Library at 9:30am with Ashley Strouse. This class will be using the Bible in Life curriculum too, beginning with the lesson, The God Who Created Us.
Pam Petrow will be exploring the Gospels via The Chosen video series with Senior High students in Rm 236.
FOR OUR CHILDREN
Our children's Sunday School classes begin at 9:30am and will be filled with a time for music, Bible stories and pictures, Bible-based themes, activities, memory verses, and more. Teachers this year are using the Bible in Life curriculum by David Cook.
3rd to 5th GRADE, led by Barb Boehmer and Barb Mours in Room 245, will be concentrating on The God Who Created Us
1st & 2nd GRADE, with Lee Restich and Laurie Sysak in Room 244, will be starting with the lesson, We Are Important to Jesus.
Pre-K & Kindergarten, with Nate Petrow & Henry Brickner in Room 240, will be starting with the lesson, We Are Important to Jesus.
2 & 3 Year Olds with Alicia, Mike, Taylor Barbaryka in Room 239 for classic children's Bible stories, accompanied by a coloring page, and play time.
Infant & Toddler Care is available in the Nursery.
WORSHIP AND WONDER
Children 4 years old through 2nd grade are invited to follow the Worship and Wonder Teachers to the classroom (rm 234) after the Children's sermon each week during our 10:45AM service. All helpers need to be in 6th grade and above, and MUST PRE-REGISTER as a helper by calling Debby Hayes at 412-266-0982.
"THE CHOSEN"
Back by popular demand, the next season of The Chosen series will be shown on Sundays at 7pm starting on Sept. 22. Registration is requested, but not mandatory, and can be done on-line on the website, or by contacting the church office.
