MOPS

MOPS stands for mothers of preschoolers, but don’t let that confuse you. MOPS is about meeting the needs of every mom of a child from conception through Kindergarten. Whether you’re urban, suburban, rural, stay at home, working, adoptive, special needs, single or married, MOPS is for you!

What is MOPS?

Bethany MOPS is doing something we’ve never done before....TWO groups to serve ALL our mamas. For years, Bethany MOPS has had a waitlist to join our group so we’re hoping this will help solve that (GREAT) problem! This coming MOPS year, there will be two separate groups.

The evening session will meet from 7pm - 8pm on the second Thursday of the month. The morning group will meet from 9:15-11:15 a.m. on the second and fourth Thursdays of the month. Childcare will be provided at both meetings! For more information, please call the church office or email the Bethany MOPS Team

FAQ’s

Q: What if there’s bad weather? How will I know if there’s MOPS or not?
A: If the Chartiers Valley School District delays or cancels school, MOPS will be canceled. If you’re not sure, you may check our Facebook or Instagram page. We will do our best to keep it updated.

Q: Can I bring a friend to MOPS with me?
A: Of course! We hope to never be so big that we can’t find room for more moms. As a courtesy, please let your Discussion Group Leader know you are bringing a guest.

Q: Do I have to be a member of a church to attend?
A: No! MOPS is for all mothers – regardless of religious affiliation.

Q: Can I advertise my home business at the MOPS meetings?
A: We want to keep the focus of MOPS on nurturing women. If, during the normal course of discussion, your home business is brought up, and someone else is interested, it would be fine for you to transact further business before or after the MOPS meeting.
