We support the following local and international missionaries with finances and prayer in their calling to share the love of Jesus to others and to bring others to Him.

Andrew Barney – Youth for Christ – Director of South Fayette Ministry

YFC reaches young people everywhere, working together with the local church and other like-minded partners to raise up lifelong followers of Jesus who lead by their godliness in lifestyle, devotion to prayer and the Word of God, passion for sharing the love of Christ and commitment to social involvement.

Mike Swanson – CCO – International Ministry at Penn State University

CCO is a campus ministry that partners with churches, colleges and other organizations to develop men and women who live out their Christian faith in every area of life. Mike Swanson who grew up and found his calling at Bethany Presbyterian Church is reaching out to international students at Penn State University through an internship during the 2012-13 school year.

“I hope to show through example and word that the college years are a time to cultivate the mind, body, and spirit and that doing so rooted in the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ is the most fulfilling thing a person can do. I am blessed to have the opportunity to show the love of Jesus Christ to students searching for it in a hostile world.”

James and Zoe Williams – Missionaries in Northern Africa

James and Zoe Williams’ home church is in Pittsburgh Presbytery. James has been ordained by the PC (USA) to this ministry. James and Zoe will be living and serving in an urban slum of a major city in North Africa. They will work with an organization that seeks to see the communities of the world’s 1 billion slum dwellers transformed by the power of the gospel. Following Jesus’ example they seek to move into the neighborhood, live like the local people, and work to provide for both spiritual needs and physical needs. The strategy includes planting self-sustaining fellowships of Jesus-followers and community organizing, drawing on the strengths of the community to tangibly transform people’s lives for the better. The team in this city has been newly formed, and the first few years will involve intensive language learning, living in a slum community, and building loving relationships that can open doors for Jesus’ love.

Choon and Yen Hee Lim – Missionaries in China and South Korea

Choon and Yen Hee Lim were appointed mission co-workers in 1991. Their current assignment is with the Presbyterian Church of Taiwan’s Aboriginal College Ministry, a work which Choon initiated for the PCT in September 1999. Until then there were no outreach ministries to students in the Hualien area. Now, Choon works in Hualien at two universities and four colleges with the campus ministries that he founded between 1999 and 2002.

As of July 1,  2012, Choon Lim has a new assignment as regional liaison for East Asia, with responsibilities for China, Japan, North Korea, South Korea, and Taiwan. After Interpretation Assignment visits in the United States, this fall the Lims will be transitioning from their work in Taiwan to their new location in Seoul, South Korea.
