Food Bank

Purpose

The Bridgeville Area Food Bank is operated out of Bethany Presbyterian Church. The food bank distributes groceries to needy families within the Chartiers Valley and South Fayette School District communities. A yearly Christmas toy drive is also conducted for Food Bank Recipient families.

Donations

The food bank accepts donations of non-perishable food items only. Food items past the expiration date cannot be used. Food donations can be dropped off at Bethany Presbyterian Church on the third Saturday of the month in the morning or during the week Monday thru Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the receptionists desk. Checks made payable to “The Bridgeville Area Food Bank” can be placed in the offering plate, or mailed to (or dropped off at) the Bethany Church office.

Distributions

The Bridgeville Area Food Bank distributes food on the third Saturday of every month from 9:30 AM until noon from Room 159.
